My name is K, and I am a Cub Scout in the Longhorn council, in the northeast Tarrant county area of Texas. I joined the Cub Scouts at the age of 6. That year, as a Tiger Cub, I earned my Bobcat badge, my Tiger badge, some belt loops, and some academic pins, and turned 7. At the end of that year, I was promoted to the Wolf den.
Over the following year, I turned 8, earned more belt loops, more academic pins, my Wolf badge, one gold arrow point, and two silver arrow points. At the end of that year, I was promoted to the Bear den.
The year that I turned 9, I earned my Bear badge, another gold arrow point, and two more silver points, along with more belt loops and academic pins. That year ended in May of 2012, and I was promoted to the Webelos Den.
This blog will tell you about my journey with the Webelos. I hope to surprise you with the things that I will do, and let you know how much fun it is to be a Cub Scout.
